Easly is browser-based business software for Swiss businesses, from sole proprietorships (Einzelfirma) to SMEs: quotes, invoices with a QR payment part, dunning, subscriptions, customers and products, receipts with AI analysis, inventory, Swiss Post shipping, staff and payroll, mileage and home office, as well as reports and VAT (MWST) - all in one application.

Easly is a product of IT Services Schneeberger (IT SB) in Bülach. IT SB operates the servers, handles ordering and billing, and provides support. More on the About Easly page.

For self-employed people, freelancers, sole proprietorships and small businesses in Switzerland who want to handle quotes, invoices, receipts and, where needed, payroll without a lot of effort.

In German, English, French and Italian. You choose the language in the setup wizard; after that, everyone can switch it for themselves at the top right. For each customer and each contact, you set the language in which quotes, invoices, payment reminders and emails go out - if none is set, the language chosen during setup applies. Email templates are available in all four languages; with your own AI access, Easly translates a template or email at the push of a button.

No. Easly runs in the browser at your own address, for example yourcompany.easly.ch - on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

CHF 13.90 per month or CHF 149.– per year, excl. VAT. All features are included; there is no setup fee and there are no per-module charges. You'll find all the details under Pricing.

No. Instead, there's a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you cancel within 14 days of purchase, you get the full amount back.

On the order page at IT Services Schneeberger: choose your plan and address and pay with PayPal or card. Your instance is set up automatically, and the access link arrives by email.

The monthly plan can be canceled effective at the end of any month, the annual plan effective at the end of the subscription year. If you cancel within 14 days of purchase, you get the full amount back.

Only for your own accounts, if you use them: your email mailbox, the AI features through your API key with Anthropic or OpenAI, and your Swiss Post business customer account - plus your own domain, if you run Easly at your own address.

On servers in Switzerland. Each instance has its own database and its own storage, both encrypted with a key used only for that instance. The backups are encrypted too.

Not in normal operation. For support, you create a time-limited access code yourself; every action is logged and visible to you. As with any hosting, the server operators have technical access to the running systems - this is governed by the binding data processing agreement.

With a password and a second factor, which is mandatory: a passkey (for example Windows Hello, Face ID or a security key) or an authenticator app.

Your instance stays readable for another 30 days so you can download a complete export (all data as Excel and CSV, plus all documents, as a ZIP). After that, the data is deleted.

Yes, every night - encrypted and separately for each instance. We keep the backups from the last 14 days, plus one per week for 8 weeks and one per month for 12 months.

Go to Settings → Data & recovery, select a backup and request a restore. We review the request and reset your instance to that point; before doing so, we back up its current state. Anything recorded after the selected point in time will then be missing.

No. You can send emails through any mailbox with SMTP, and Easly fetches receipts from any mailbox via IMAP - for example from Infomaniak, Hostpoint or Gmail. Microsoft 365 is supported too.

Yes. Without AI access, you enter supplier, amount, date and category by hand. With your own access to Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (ChatGPT), Easly reads this information automatically.

No, it's optional. Easly only uses AI with your own access to Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (ChatGPT), through an API key. With it, Easly reads receipts (supplier, amount, VAT, category - on upload and from the mailbox), reads documents such as insurance policies, equipment receipts and home office documents, corrects text in email templates and answers questions in the help. Without AI access, everything else works as usual; you then enter receipts by hand.

A subscription such as ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro does not include API access. You need an API key with prepaid credit from the provider. The provider bills you directly - usually a few cents (Rappen) per receipt.

Yes. Every invoice gets a QR payment part compliant with the Swiss Payment Standards - with your IBAN and the Creditor Reference (SCOR) or without a reference, or with a QR-IBAN and the QR reference (27 digits). Easly automatically detects whether you have stored a QR-IBAN.

Yes, with the paperwork: Easly puts together all the documents for your tax return - or for your accountant (Treuhänder) - at the push of a button: income statement (PDF and Excel, with drill-down to every receipt), VAT return (effective method or net tax rate, PDF and Excel), salary certificates as PDFs, fixed asset register, home office deduction, mileage report and invoice overview as Excel, the receipt archive with the original files and the complete data export as a ZIP. Easly doesn't fill out or file the tax return itself.

Yes. The monthly payroll run calculates the gross salary, the deductions for AHV (old-age and survivors' insurance), IV (disability insurance), EO (income compensation) and ALV (unemployment insurance), and the net salary, and saves the payslip as a PDF in the personnel file. Easly fills in the salary certificate (Lohnausweis) on the official Form 11.

You enter customers and products in Easly by hand. For larger migrations from Excel or other software, we're happy to help.

Yes. Your name, logo and colors appear on the sign-in page, in the navigation, on all documents and in emails. You can also use your own domain if you like (see the next question).

Yes. If you like, your instance runs at your own address, for example office.yourcompany.ch: with your domain provider, you set up a CNAME record pointing to yourcompany.easly.ch, then enter the domain in Easly under "Subscription & account"; HTTPS is set up automatically. This works with an address that has a prefix such as office., app. or erp. Under DNS rules, an address without a prefix (yourcompany.ch) can't have a CNAME record - we have a solution for that on request. You bring your own domain; it is not included in the price.
