Privacy policy for this website
This privacy policy applies to the easly.ch website. For your use of the Easly service - that is, your order and the data in your instance - the IT Services Schneeberger documents linked below apply. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, DSG) and - where applicable - the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

A static website without cookies
- This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- There is no advertising and no cross-site tracking. For simple visitor statistics, we use our own installation of Umami on our own server - see below.
- No third-party content is loaded - no external fonts, maps, videos or social media buttons. The font is served from this server.
- On pages showing prices, your browser retrieves the current prices from the IT Services Schneeberger order server (license.it-sb.ch). No cookies are set; the server logs the request as described below under "Server logs".
- The only place where you enter data is the contact form on the contact page - what happens to that data is explained below.
Server logs
When you visit the website, the web server stores technically necessary information in log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the page you visited before. This information is used for secure operation, troubleshooting and defending against attacks. It is not merged with other data and is deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless it is needed to investigate a security incident.
The website is hosted on a server in Switzerland operated by IT Services Schneeberger.
Visitor statistics
To see which pages are read, we count page views with the open-source software Umami. It runs on a server operated by IT Services Schneeberger (stats.audhive.io) - the data is not passed on to any third party. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
With each page view, your browser transmits the page requested and its title, the page you visited before, the screen size and the language setting. From this and from the technical information of your browser, the statistics server derives device type, browser, operating system and country. Umami does not store your IP address; to count several page views of the same visit, it creates an irreversible, regularly changing identifier. We only analyze aggregated figures and do not combine them with other data.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 31 FADP, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you don't want to be counted, block the address stats.audhive.io, for example with a content blocker - the website works without any restrictions.
Contact form, email and phone
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, company, email address, phone number, topic and message) solely to answer your inquiry and for any follow-up questions.
The form sends your details encrypted (HTTPS) to IT Services Schneeberger's server license.it-sb.ch in Switzerland. It forwards them as an email to our mailbox and does not store the message itself. To protect against misuse, the server records that an inquiry was received and on which topic, together with an irreversible identifier (hash) of your IP address; we delete these entries after 90 days at the latest. The IP address itself appears only in the usual server logs (see above), as with any page view. No cookies are set.
Our mailbox is hosted with Microsoft 365. Microsoft processes the emails on our behalf; our Microsoft account is assigned to the Europe region.
